Need to change channel on 5 GHz radio

Hello,

Several of my IOT devices do not like DFS channels. All the WiFi parameter are greyed out and I am unable to change anything. I am logging into a XB10 in admin mode from the web browser. Any ideas how I can gain access to these menus?

Thanks for any replies.

@user_rcc1h4 This is a great question. Our team is here to help.

The best course of action for managing your network settings is using the Xfinity app. You must give permission to the app in order to access the website online for your Wi-Fi settings.

I have a link with those steps for you https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/admin-tool-access

Hello,

Thank you for taking the time to respond. However it seems I was not articulate enough.  I have admin access to the device from the web browser (so in essence I have already done the above :-)) and that should give me admin rights to allow changes. The issue is all the options are greyed out when I go to 10.0.0.1 and use the admin login. It is my understanding I should be able to make changes.

@user_rcc1h4 Thanks for letting me know you're able to log in, and you've toggled that setting on in your Xfinity App!

Are you connected using a VPN, bridge mode or using your own modem?

Some features are not available when you're in bridge modem.

The connection is direct ethernet connected at 1 Gig. I also tried Chrome, Firefox and last and least Edge with the same results. Thoughts? Can you please login into the unit and see what maybe wrong? And also not in bridge mode.

Hello @user_rcc1h4 and thank you for clarifying that for us.

While access to the admin login does grant some ability to change certain functions within the modem, including the ability to modify the modem's bridge mode and firewall settings, most of the Wi-Fi function settings, including naming and password settings are now managed exclusively via the Xfinity App and are no longer available within the admin login interface.  The XB10 supports automated, AI-driven band management to optimize connectivity.

I need to move the 5 GHz radio to a non DFS channel as I have stated in the first message. Seems my request is bit more technical than what is normally seen here. Can you "PLEASE" move this to a real support person? I need to be able to set the channels to what ever I want. I have an Ekahau spectrum analyzer and most of the UNI-1 channels are not being used. I also do not need or care about wide channels. As for you response... No you did not answer my question and or make my modem usable for me. To help you in your quest for knlowdge please look up DFS, UNI-1 and Ekahau so that we can be on the same page.

Thank You for your consideration

And lastly it is a Accessibility issue to my modem...
