My work VPN get limit for downloading large files

I've been dealing with this issue for a while now. I can connect to my work VPN, but any large file downloads get blocked, which is causing me significant trouble. This isn't a router issue, since it happens even when I connect directly via cable. It feels like Xfinity has a firewall on their end that's blocking downloads over my work VPN.
