My speed dropped to less than dial up

I have the 2000Mbps plan. I got a new modem up that supports up to 4GB. After activating it, my speed dropped from 2GB plus for the last 8 weeks to 37.5Mbps. I have restarted modem multiple times. Best speed I have been able to get when connected directly to modem via Ethernet is 983, and that was only for a few minutes. The soonest appointment I could get was a week out. WHAT IS GOING ON

user_7zzznn I’d be reaching out for help too in that situation. I mean, pulling 37.5 Mbps on dial-up that maxed out at 56 Kbps… my 1990s self would’ve thought that was lightning fast.

All jokes aside, that’s definitely not the experience you should be having on a 2 Gbps plan. Let’s take a closer look at your account and setup to make sure everything is provisioned correctly and see what might be causing the drop in speed. Please send us your full name and complete address via our DM.
