My plan states I should be receiving up to 500Mb/s download speed... Not now...

I have been running some checks on my download speed for the past week. Consistently receiving a little over 250Mb/s.

When I used to receive over 400Mb/s whether my laptops are connected by ethernet or WiFi.

What has happened Comcast. Why is the speed slower in the PHL/Newark DE. region?

[UPDATE]

I plugged one of my laptops directly to the Xfinity cable router. Ran the same speed test from the same speed test URL. The results were worst. I received less than 100Mb/s for the download speed. Upload speed stayed consistent. The results make no sense. Is the problem the connection line coming into the house, the cable router, or my laptops? I have multiple laptops running a mix of LMDE and Windows 10/11 Home. I doubt its the laptops.

Any Xfinity engineers monitoring the postings? Please provide an answer to my original stated concern. Has something changed in the PHL/DE region? Please be honest. I'm a paying customer that is not getting what I paying for. What needs to be done to resolve this problem.

We know how frustrating it is when you're not seeing the speeds you expect — especially after running multiple tests and even hard wiring your device. We’d be just as concerned, and we appreciate the detailed breakdown. That definitely helps us get a clearer picture.
