@user_ghm9wn The Xfinity app is awesome for Xfinity Gateways, it may not have as much info or options for an owned modem though. Purchased modems will have their own app to use nowadays, in order to manage the network and give you full control. List step by step, what you are doing, when you are getting that message, where you are getting it from, on what device, and any other insights as to why this would happen. We'll make sure you can get to your router settings.
