My internet drops continuously several times a day

I have recently got the xfinity 300 mbps internet service. I am facing this issue several times on daily basis. All of my device lost internet connection. Sometime, I just lost the connection to the internet while sometime all of my devices get disconnected with WiFi. I have tried to troubleshoot several time with Xfinity Assistant through the phone and it restarted my gateway several time but the issue persistently happens. Can someone help me on this please? I tried to call the support but, it is answered by AI and it follows the same steps restarting my gateway.

I tried those solutions. I cannot access the status page though so not able to test that part. Thank You for pointing this out.

Hello, @susanta if you are still experiencing intermittent connectivity issues please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address? To send a direct message:

1. In the top right corner, you'll see a little chat icon near the bell icon. Click the direct message icon

2. Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

3. In the 'To' line, type "Xfinity Support" there. A drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list (an "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line)

4. Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

5. Press Enter to send it. An official employee, such as myself or whoever is first available, will respond. Thanks!

The IP provided on the document are not accessable. My home network prefix is 10 one but I am not able to access both with 10 and 192

Hello susanta, and thank you for reaching out via our Xfinity Community Forums. I understand how frustrating it is to have your Xfinity 300 Mbps service constantly drop, especially since reboots with the automated assistant haven't helped. Thank you for letting us know you're dealing with both intermittent internet loss and total Wi-Fi disconnection. The fact that you cannot access your gateway settings (10.x.x.x or 192.168.1.1) points to an issue beyond simple troubleshooting. We need to look at your signal levels and connection history to find a permanent solution, which may require a technician visit or a new gateway. We can help you bypass the phone automation and get this resolved. Please send us a Direct Message (DM) with the following information, so we can pull diagnostics immediately:

  • Your full name

  • The full service address

  • The best phone number to reach you

To send a "Direct Message":

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon at the top of the page (it looks like a text bubble)

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list that appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it

We'll use this information to pinpoint the source of the problem and schedule the necessary fix!
