Moving router to a new room
I want to move my router to a new room. I have the coaxial connection but testing this past weekend it appears that connection is not active. How can I get internet to that connection?

Hey there, @user_ywv6za, thanks for reaching out through Xfinity Forums regarding moving your modem. If you attempted to move your modem to the new outlet and it didn't connect, it sounds like it is not active. We can have a tech out to your location to activate the new outlet; however, there would be a charge for the tech visit. Is this something you are interested in?
