Modem stop providing internet

This is the third time our modem stops giving out internet. The light just stays flashing. A tech had come out and changed some cables but it has happened again. When I change the modem I don’t have issues for about a month and then it starts happening again. Nobody seems to know what is going on. Any ideas?
