MoCA not working

I recently just bought a moca adapter (ma-25 from asus) and I can’t seem to get it to work. My office is downstairs and my modem is upstairs. I’ve tried using different outlets, messing with the Internet box and I can’t find any splitters at all unless they’re in the wall which I’m not sure where. I have moca enabled on the modem, but it doesn't register the device as a client. I’m not sure what else I can try, any help would be appreciated

FWIW. If there are indeed hidden splitters somewhere, and they are not MoCA compliant like this one (5-1675 MHz) https://www.amazon.com/Antronix-MMC1002H-B-Splitter-Frontier-Formerly/dp/B07PRYS8YZ , it's not going to work no matter what.
