MoCA not working after router reboot/reset

I have a TG4482A router installed about 1 month ago (new customer)

I have 4 MoCA adaptors and all connections were working perfectly

The router was reset by mistake.

I Enable the MoCA feature, rebooted, unplugged and plugged back in but I am not longer to connect to the router via the devices that are hardwired to to the MoCA adaptors.

After the reboot, I did notice that the MoCA option is enabled but there are no MoCA devices connected to the router.

Any direction would be greatly appreciated.

Just as an update,  I did reboot and reset one of the MoCA adapter, but it was still not seen via the router GUI

Hey there, user_ukhqg0, thanks for reaching out through Xfinity Forums regarding your account. We truly appreciate you being a new customer! We would be happy to help with your set up. Have you tried toggling your MoCA feature off and back on to see if that helps with getting you connected again? Do you have your MoCA Privacy Disable?

user_ukhqg0 Hello and thank you for reaching out via our Xfinity Community Forums. We understand how frustrating it can be when your internet connection isn’t working as expected. To help with, please review and try the following steps:
  1. Power Cycle Your Equipment:

    • Turn off your router, MoCA adapters, and connected devices.
    • Wait for a few minutes, then turn them back on, starting with the router.
  2. Check MoCA Settings:

    • Log into your router's settings and navigate to the MoCA section.
    • Ensure that MoCA is enabled and the correct channel is selected.
  3. Reset Your MoCA Adapters:

    • Locate the reset button on your MoCA adapters and press and hold it for 10-15 seconds.
  4. Inspect Coaxial Cable Connections:

    • Verify that all coaxial cables are securely connected to your router, MoCA adapters, and wall outlets.

If these steps don’t resolve the issue, please let us know so we can continue to troubleshoot this issue with you.

Thanks for the suggestions. I tried as shared but with no success.
Really not happy with the service for multiple reasons so I’m discounting and going to FiOS. Thanks again for your suggestions and assistance.

I'm sorry user_ukhqg0, that these steps did not help out. I can dig more into the gateway to try to figure out why the moca connections stopped working. I know how troubling this can be for your home network settings, so I understand looking for another provider. If there's still a chance for us to help out please send us a direct message with your name and service address, and we will dig into the trouble with the gateway and the connections.

@user_ukhqg0

Just curious. So you still have a coax-based home network with FiOS ?
