low download speeds and high latency
I have the Gigbit plan and i'm only getting download speeds around 200mbps when I run a speed test. That is WELL BELOW what is expected. I'm also experiencing periods of high latency and lag when playing games (they say things like high ping or network problem). I've restarted multiple times. replace ethernet cables as the "assistant" requested. Please advise.

@user_gueknv I can definitely understand your frustration. Thank you for letting us know that you've tried different cables and restarted the modem. Have you also checked that the coaxial line is secure at both the modem and outlet and removed any unnecessary splitters? What type of modem are you using? Is this happening all the time or just during certain times of day? Is it just one game or multiple games you are experiencing the lag with? The more detail you can provide the better we can assist.
