LAN port stops responding in bridge mode

I configured my Xfinity modem to work in bridge mode. It works for a period of time then the LAN port that is connected to my network router goes dead and there is no internet connection. The only fix that works is to reset the Xfinity router back to factory settings.  I cant even put the Xfinity router back into Bridge mode, no LAN ports work on it at all if it is in bridge mode, I have tested a number of devices and i have tested each port.

This all started this morning at 3:00 am. it was working find before that

Best part is you call Xfinity tech support and it just tells you to us the Xfinity assistant over and over again 😂
