JITTER - BUFFERBLOAT - HIGH UPLOAD LATENCY !!!!!!!

After three months of calling and having countless technicians come out, they finally concluded that the problem is with the node and the cables coming from the node.

They told me that this is a “temporary line,” but apparently that temporary line has been there for 15 years.

Can someone please help me get this escalated to the right department? Is there any way to have someone from Xfinity come out and replace or upgrade the node and the cables connected to it?

I’ve been dealing with this for three months and have already had multiple technicians come out, but the problem still hasn’t been resolved. I would really appreciate any help getting this escalated to someone who can actually address the issue.

When I run a test, my upload latency fluctuates significantly: 30–80–120–100–40–80–90–100 ms. The upload-side jitter is also over 50 ms, when it should be no more than 2 ms. My internet connection is clearly unstable.

The technician also told me that there was one T3 error that he was unable to clear. At this point, though, I honestly don’t trust what they’re telling me anymore, because the issue keeps happening and nothing seems to be getting properly resolved.
