Issues with Latency Through Comcast and Backbone Providers in Illinois
We have waited for a few days to post, but many neighbors in our service area have noticed "slowness" with their productivity apps and internet browsing. What they are actually being impacted by is latency not from their homes to your Roseville, MN hosting location, but from somewhere further along in the network routing between Comcast and its own backbone, or Comcast and another backbone provider. This has been confirmed by AWS and Microsoft as some are customers of Amazon Workspaces and Microsoft Teams for those working at home, and they have done troubleshooting with those businesses and the application support teams. Is Comcast monitoring quality of service on its own network links that our traffic is routed through? This isn't a home internet issue but still impacts customer usage of your service.

Often the HTTP, ICMP, and TCP/IP latency can be captured > 800 ms. ICMP and tracert indicates the issue is between Comcast Illinois hosting locations and other networks in the U.S.
