IPv6 Stopped working
I implemented IPv6 a year or so ago when it became available in my area. It worked great.........until it didn't. I didn't know that's what it was, only that my speed dropped recently from 800Mbps max to 250 Mpps max. Comcast Tech Support told me my Comcast Approved personally owned Arris SBV3203 router was malfunctioning, and I needed to buy a replacement. But when I talked to my router manufacturer, they suggested I try switching from IPv6 to IPv4. Most of the speed returned (about 500Mbps).
I have heard on the forums that IPv6 may not be configured properly on some of the Comcast servers. Is that what is happened? Is this something that can or will be fixed? Does Comcast no longer support this router that they did before?
