IPv6 stopped working for me spontaneously about 4 months ago. No change occurred in my equipment or use of the service. Please help.

That's not much to go on.  What do you have for equipment, and how do you have it configured?  Specifically, your IPV6 settings, prefix, how are you handling the RA's, etc.

The problem seems to be that Comcast is sending DHCPv6 advertisements in which the source address is a Global Unicast address and in which the destination address is a link-local address .  My firewall (correctly) regards such packets as invalid and rejects them.  The workaround is to configure my firewall to accept such packets.

Comcast: Why are you sending IPv6 packets in which the source address is a Global Unicast address and the destination address is a link-local address?  Is this behavior intentional?
