IPv6 INPUT drop, IPv6 FORWARD drop, and WANATTACK drop occur several times a day

Intermittent network drops have been occurring every day for the past 6 weeks, lasting 20-30 seconds each time.  My Arris 36 (customer owned) cable modem/router is logging thousands of WANATTACK DROPs being blocked by the firewall every day, plus hundreds of IPv6 INPUT Drops and IPv6 FORWARD drops.  I have seen several other posts of this same problem, but never have I seen any solution posted.  What good is a 1000MB internet connection that drops out all the time?  very frustrated...

I have gone through everything in the troubleshooting guide.  Signal levels are fine, SNR is >40dB on all channels, all channels are locked.  No timeouts on the Event Log, Firewall Log is still showing WANATTACKs, IPv6 INPUT DROPs and IPv6 FORWARD DROPs.  Speed test measures 924 Mbps down and about 20 Mbps up. But dropouts are still happening. I then replaced the 1GHz splitter with a 2 GHz splitter.  Dropouts seem to be less frequent but are still happening.

@user_zg64x0 I'm sorry to hear you're still experiencing connection drops after changing your splitter. How long are the drops for?

Do they happen at certain times of the day?

Have you checked all the connections to your modem and router to ensure they're finger tight and secure?

Are you able to bypass using your router and see if the connection drops still happen when it's just your modem connected?

Do you have any amplifiers or additional extenders connected?

Same issue here. Firewall logs report the same thing. I am using the default firewall settings.
