Internet works but not in the list of networks

Hi, my Xfinity Gateway is up and running with internet, it for some reason it doesn’t show on my phone in the list of WI-FI Networks

Hi @gilbertol816 Thank you for reaching out on the Xfinity Community Forums. We are happy to help you out. Have you looked on the Xfinity App to see if broadcasting of the SSID is enabled? Here are the steps on how to check on this Xfinity xFi Network Settings and Advanced Settings.

@XfinityJanelle​ Its also the internet that is out but no outages. But it still indicates it's online.

gilbertol816 Some devices don't play nice with others. They don't always report their status. With your internet being out, are you able to connect on any device? Also, what color is the light on your Wireless Gateway? Is it blinking or steady?
