Internet speeds are WAY lower than what I'm paying for.
I'm currently on a wired connection using a NETGEAR CM1000 modem, which is rated up to 800 Mbps for Comcast and an ASUS RT-AX88U router, which meets the WIFI 6 standard. I'm on an 800 Mbps plan and most of the time I'm getting between 90 Mbps to 130 Mbps. I had an xfinity technician come out a few weeks ago and he replaced the connectors on each end of my coax cable drop, the splitter outside of my apartment unit, and some other relevant equipment. We ran two different speed tests; one on speedtest.net and the other on google. Afterwards, I was getting the speeds that I was supposed to have, but my speeds went back down to the 90-130 Mbps range that I was getting previously a few hours after he left and ever since. The technician said that there was still some degradation of the signal (or something similar) coming from the cable drop and he suggested that I contact my apartment's management team to get a new cable drop installed. Before I do that, is there anything else I should be aware of or things I can try?

@Jet_1337 Thank you for using our amazing community here for assistance with your connection, we know it is crucial you have a working connection, so we'd love to work with you on this! It sounds like you've done a good deal of troubleshooting, and since you have already had a technician come out, it sounds like the outside line may be the issue if everything else was confirmed okay. Have you already done all the suggested troubleshooting in our How to Troubleshoot Your Xfinity Internet Connection post to see how that helps?
