Internet speed issue
I have the Xfinity 1200 mbps plan. In the past year I have had techs at my house at least 3 different times because I don’t get half the speed I am paying for. I feel like during peak hours in the evening my speeds get down to as low as 200mbps. That’s a fraction what I pay for. Sure we don’t really notice a difference maybe some lagging here and there but I would like to get what I’m paying for. Why can’t this issue be resolved? During the day I can test the speed to my gateway and I actually get more than I’m paying for at times. I can connect to the free Xfinity WiFi in my area and get faster internet than the speed I get in my own home that I am paying for. This is seriously frustrating.

We completely understand your frustration, and we truly apologize for the ongoing issues with your internet speed. You’re absolutely right to expect the service you’re paying for, and it’s disappointing to hear that this has been a recurring problem despite previous technician visits.
The drop in speeds during peak hours could be related to network congestion, but it shouldn’t be to the extent you’re describing. Since you’ve already had multiple tech visits, we’ll need to take a closer look at your account and network performance to identify the root cause and ensure this gets resolved.
