Internet outsense Friday 9/4 - No ETA or Human Support - Dinwiddie, VA

Our Xfinity Internet service in Dinwiddie County, VA (23841) has been completely out since approximately 7 PM Friday, September 4.

Xfinity has provided no restoration estimate or specific explanation. The outage status continues to say that teams will assess the network “once the area is declared safe.”

By Saturday morning, power in the surrounding area had been restored. We personally drove approximately a 20-mile radius and observed no significant remaining storm damage, blocked roads, or unsafe conditions.

I have repeatedly tried to contact Xfinity, but the automated system will not allow me to reach a representative who can explain what is actually preventing restoration.

Can an Xfinity employee please escalate this outage and provide information about the actual cause, whether the network has been assessed, whether crews are actively working on it, and when we can reasonably expect service to be restored?
