Internet out even though restoration says it was restored

Our Internet is out since the storms early Monday. We were alerted mid day Monday that internet was restored, but we still do not have Internet. I have not been able to reach a person to ask for an ETA on restoration. My wife and I both work from home and need the Internet to do so.
