Internet issues

I experience latency spikes of up to 500-1000ms every 10 minutes while I play Xbox for the past year. I have tried wired and wireless connections and nothing changes. I have moved closer to router, still nothing. I spoke with an ai bot who insists there is an issue with my internet performance and prompts me to schedule for a technician visit. I would like to know exactly what those findings were before I pay for a technician to not give me solution and fix my problem. I know for a fact my issues lie within this internet service as they do not happen when I am playing at another house or internet connection.

Emartens33 thank you so much for stopping in for help with your connection issues. I see @EG pointed you in the right direction to find out more about your connection issues. I can tell you the Xfinity assistant would have provided troubleshooting if the issue was not on our end, and if a technician were recommended, a network issue is more than likely the cause. @EGs steps would help find out more about what was detected. The check your signals section would be where I would have you check.
