Internet download throttling

I’m paying for the 2000mbps download plan and my download speeds are not reflecting. At times, my connection will slow down to as low as 10mbps. I have restarted my router and checked my connections, which are all fine. No bends or breaks in the coax cable or anything like that. When I restart the router, download speeds are normal for maybe 2 minutes and then it drops down again.

Xfinity does not throttle downloads.  You need to have a technician visit to determine what is causing your low speeds.  If an issue is found outside your residence, the tech will either fix the issue, or if unable to, report it so that the repairs are made.  If the issue is inside your house such as incompatible splitters, incompatible hardware, etc, you will be charged a fee for the visit.

user_0ii2u9, Hi! Thanks for taking the time to reach out. As someone who depends on my internet speeds to work correctly for my job, I can understand the inconvenience that those slow speeds can cause. You've reached our amazing team of specialists who are experts in resolving issues such as this over social media. Let's get this fixed.

If you were to run an internet health test like this link here via the Xfinity app, what results does it pull for you?
