Internet data usage
Can anybody please help me out? Where do you check your internet data usage?
I used to see it on the Xfinity website but now "View data usage" keeps looping back to https://customer.xfinity.com/#/devices#usage.
The Xfinity app directs to the useless Xfinity Assistant which keeps saying "I can help get you information about your data usage and internet service plan. I'm finishing up some checks on your account to get all the information you need. Are you ready for me to proceed?" but it never gives me the data no matter how I phrase my question.

Found the answer to my own question.
Start Xfinity app
- Choose "Connect" at the bottom of the screen
- Click on your WiFi name
- Under WiFi details, click on "Advanced settings"
- Click on "Data usage"
- Finally! Monthly Summary should appear
Mine showed from November 2022, then 0GB for Feb 2023, so it looks like this is not updated realtime.

That link works for me. They may require you to be logged in with a Primary (or Manager?) UserID. The link doesn't show usage info when I'm logged in with a Member or Viewer UserID. Check your ID at https://idm.xfinity.com/myaccount/lookup.

Same result I had. Prior to 2022 it would show up in chat whenever I asked. Since then it just gives me that erroneous message, telling me it's performing checks on my account and if I wanted to proceed. Nothing ever becomes of it.

I am a new user of home Internet and mobile. In the current month, my HOME INTERNET jumped to double the rate.
The app gives monthly and daily "data" but does not separate upload from download as basic internet connections do.
Is there any way to get this information?
I am no longer able to use my Ethernet connection due to Comcast/Xfinity technical problems.

Please create a new topic of your own here on this board detailing your issue. Thanks. The original poster has not returned. 4-month-old dead thread is now being closed.
For future reference, it is better to submit your own post as it creates a ticket to get help, and posting on an old thread can delay getting help.
