internet data usage doubled in one month

I have been a Comcast/Xfinity customer for 14 years. I got an alert this month that I exceeded my data plan. I’ve historically used way less than that. I haven’t changed anything. What is happening?

Here are the detailed steps to direct message us:

 • Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list
 • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
