Internet connection WAN or LAN
I recently got the new Gateway box XB7. Since then the diagnostic test for wifi returns a message that
I - do not have a LAN connection
I - am on a network that is not connected to my modem/router.
Though my internet is working I find this very odd. And it appears to be true that my network is now on WAN.
Also my channel bandwidth fro 5ghz is now 157, 1 which I thought is only allowed to Industrial networks.
Can someone answer me please if this setup is correct - or if I am connected to another network that is not just strictly mine. I have had many security concerns this year across all tech devices I use, and want to be surethat my setup is as secure as possible.
Thank you

When you look at the list of available WiFi networks does it show that you are connected to your private WiFi home network's broadcast name (SSID), or does it show that you are connected to an xfinitywifi or XFINITY public hotspot ?
And channel 157 is not only for industrial networks. It's also for public / residential usage. I'm on that channel as we speak.

Thank you for taking the time to reach out @gabriellemv. We just wanted to reach out to see how everything is going and to check if you're still having these issues with your new XB7. I hope the answers and feedback that EG provided for some of your questions were helpful as they're accurate and good questions to look into.
