Intermittent Packet Drops and Downstream Power Level Issues

Hi,


I currently have a Netgear CM3000 and have been getting regular packet drops and disconnects for the past couple of weeks.  No changes have been made on my side since the last time a technician was here to fix a previous power level issue from an amp down the street (about a year ago).  The modem is reporting poor downstream power level and constant US profile change messages in the log plus regular T3 time-outs.  I have reset everything and rechecked that every connection is tight.

Having the exact same issue as well, also have a Netgear CM3000. Issue just started happening around Christmas for me. Speeds are just fine, the issue is very sporatic packet loss.

Yes I have, made sure all cables are tightened. Swapped to an older modem and router to verify it wasn't faulty equipment. Had a Xfinity Tech come out last week and he removed an old amplifier that was installed in the attic claiming it was the source of the issue. Removing that AMP did improve the connection, but as shown in the post above I am still having issues with my connection and receiving packet loss. Event logs on the modem are still showing US profile assignment change. Packet loss is also still happening.
