Intermittent outages following XFinity line repairs on 7/15/24.
Following outages in the area last weekend and early in the week (7/15/24), we saw two Xfinity trucks up the road working on the lines. During that time and now afterwards, the connection has been randomly going down. All cables in the home have been checked (as well as power cycling the modem). This problem only began during the outages last weekend and following the repairs/changes made to the lines by the repair crew. Since that time, every hour or so the internet will freeze or completely go out for 1-2 minutes before returning. Looking at the Gateway on the modem shows quite a few Uncorrectables on the Downstream Bonded Channels. It overall looks like there is some noise in the line that is most likely coming from the incomplete repairs that were made.

Problem is still persisting after over a week now. Beyond equipment failure, the temperature when things began was back during the heat wave, so that may have fried some of the equipment down the road and it was replaced. Obviously whatever was done hasn't fixed the issue as the internet is still cutting out periodically (just happened yet again).
