Intermittent network instability/ loss of connections. Hardwired and wifi.

Good morning,
For the last month or two I've been experiencing connection stability issues on all devices within my home network be it via wifi or direct connection to the gateway.
PlayStation will have issues where streaming will slow to a crawl.
Downloads will take ages to finish on my PC and laptop.
My wife uses her computer to stream her art and make income and there have been several days where she will lose connection over and over to no avail.
my current plan is the 1.2 Gbps unlimited data and there hasn't been an excessive data usage so I don't believe there should be any reason for our plan to be getting throttled.

Any help resolving this issue will be greatly appreciated.
We have already attempted to solve this by restarting the gateway but this does not seem to help.
