Intermittent Internet

I got the 200 mbps wifi speed for my plan and used my own router + modem which is the MG7700. Everything was fine for the first week maybe but after that, my wifi would be intermittent constantly.  It would have lag spikes for 5-10 seconds almost every 2 to 3 minutes. The wifi sign still shows connected will 4 bars but the internet would sometimes just disappear. I have gone to an Xfinity store and the consultant told me it was because 200 wasn't enough which I don't think is the case. I have changed my coax cable and asked the apartment with no one else experiencing the same type of internet issue. I have also called Xfinity several times and gone through the process of restarting the modem from their end, and everything seemed fine according to them. I have also put my modem on the floor and somewhere higher which leads to no difference. My apartment isn't even that big, only having a bedroom and a living room and I'm the only one using this internet with about 2 devices on it. It has been a struggle with this internet connection as it is really frustrating and annoying to experience this at such a rapid rate. Does anyone know what the fix to this is?

This is certainly not the experience that we want you or anyone else to have with your internet services, and we're here to help, @ea.liu. Just to clarify, does the internet disconnect when using a specific service or application? Are you mainly on Wi-Fi or do you have any devices that are connected with an Ethernet cable? Do you happen to be connected to any type of VPN (Virtual Private Network) when this happens, as some companies do require a VPN to work through their network?
