Intermittent Connectivity
Over the last year, I’ve tried web chat, help desk, onsite visit, I have finally ordered a new modem from xfinity, maybe that will help, but my issue is that every few weeks my internet connection gets unreliable and intermittently drops. I have run the speed tests and when the connection is active the speeds are great, the issue is reliability. I saw posts about the types of errors that other customers experience and the tech showed me the error logs on his laptop when he came to the house. He said sometimes problems on the line with new construction and other issues can cause these problems but it’s really frustrating, web browsing is unreliable, thermostats intermittently drop and error messages get sent, etc. if I upgrade to a home business connection will I get better customer service and reliability? Can I get a fiber connection? Does xfinity offer a more reliable product?

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it.
