i pay for decent wifi but it doesn’t work

I pay for the 500mbps wifi yet i can’t use my ps5 to watch shows without it constantly lagging or buffering, I can’t play games nor can i stream or play with others. My phone and ipad constantly get disconnected and the connection never stays. It’s not a problem with my console just my wifi.

@XfinityJeniece​ yes i have and nothing helped! i was told it’s a problem with my console and it’s not. my wifi won’t even work on my ipad or phone without lagging severely or not starting connected.

Are the devices you mentioned the only ones connected when you are gaming and streaming? How many devices would you say tend to be connected at the same time? Also, how is your PS5 connected? Is it hardwired to the modem, router, or using Wi-Fi?

@XfinityThomasC​ It’s connected through wifi but even when connected with an ethernet cable it doesn’t stay connected. also no it happens all the time. i could not even be on the devices and they’ll disconnect and switch to my data. and i usually have my ipad, my iphone, and my ps5 connected.
