I can’t connect because I don’t have a WPA2 password

If you are using a Comcast gateway, see https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/view-change-wifi-password. If you are not using a Comcast device please post the model number of your WiFi router or gateway.

The password might be located on the gateway or router itself. Check the bottom too.
Also; pushing the WPS button will normally give you about 30 seconds to connect without entering a password.

Perhaps you meant the WPS button? See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wi-Fi_Protected_Setup
Note that WPS "PIN" is insecure and should be disabled if possible.
Thank you Bruce! It was a typo that I missed. I could not get back on the forum over the weekend. Had a white-screen when clicking "forum".
