I need a Comcast/Xfinity engineer & technicians help in regards to wifi
A couple of months ago, I decided to upgrade to the XB7 gateway to be able to get the speeds of my XfinityXfi 1 GB home Internet plan. We previously had the XB6 gateway and were having issues after issues even with several new gateway replacements. After the installation we were still not getting close to the speeds we pay for. I ran some tests with multiple devices including tests with Ethernet speeds as well (iPhone 12, Apple iPad Pro 12" 3rd generation, and a Samsung Notebook S). When I ran the test ranging from being right next to the gateway, half way across the house, and all the across the house from the gateway. I noticed that even being right next to the gateway (with all of these devices) I would get 250 mbps or lower, and it just got worse the further I got from the gateway. I started searching online to see if anyone had this issue and couldn't really find anything at the time because it was relatively new.
Then recently searched it up again and found some other issues people were having with their XB7 gateway with gigabyte home Internet speeds. Their problems on multiple different reasons why they were experiencing that that situation with their XB7 sounded very similar to my situation. So I looked my whole wifi installation. See pictures in attached to this post. I also, have a Xfinity cable running to the box on the side of my house, it was installed right when Xfinity Xfi was becoming more popular and in demand (several years ago). So, i do not know if it that an Xfinity engineer should look at my streets equipment, fix/upgrade street connections and-or street boosters, look at the street to side of house connection, fix or upgrade the box on the side of my house that connects my house to the line, or my gateway connection, etc. I also, get 1024mpbs from the street to the XB7 gateway (according to the Xfinity speed tests) but nothing close to those speeds on wifi or Ethernet. I also do not know if any equipment needs to be updated like: filters for home connection box, Cox cables, etc.
I also, have included all photos of everything to see if it is one of those issues. Also, note: the mud dauber structure on the Cox cable in the box has not affected the cable I removed it and everything is intact and not damaged.
please let me know what you think or if you have any tips or recommendations, any thing will help User manual for XB7 gateway? XB7 Gateway Connection issues

ok, on wifi are you connecting to 5 g band? the speeds you indicate your getting are very simular to the speeds i get if i connect to the 2.4 g band, the 5 g wifi band is way faster then the 2,.4 g wifi band, its normal for the farther you get from the gateway on wifi to get slower speeds, also your ethernet cables i would use cat 6, also sometimes your network card don't negotiate the correct link speeds, it's normally set to auto, I find I sometimes have to set it to the desired speed my network card can handle, you indicate your getting 1024 Mbps to your gateway so the speed is getting there, the xb7 can be very fast

You would want to connect to the 5g channel as you call it, it will produce the fastest download speed on WiFi , example on my iPhone 12, it can use WiFi 6 which is on the Xb7, so I just did a speed test using both bands or channels, 2.4g = 133 Mbps and 5g = 722 Mbps so quite a difference, just to give you a idea, but your device would have to be WiFi 6 capable to achieve those speeds, yes I mean the Ethernet cable to the gateway, also note 1 port on the Xb7 is rated at 2500 Mbps, the others 1000 Mbps, I would check these items first to see if you get better results The cat 6 cable I just got off of Amazon, I just ordered the length I needed,
