I have to keep resetting my Gateway??

Starting about three or four days ago my internet has been dropping out. I can get my speed back by resetting my XB7 Gateway.

Is something going on with my Xfinity service or do I need to replace my Gateway?

 

Here is a sample of what I am seeing..

I don’t wish to start doing all that if this is a problem Xfinity is aware of, I’d just be wasting my time. A couple of posts on local social media said it was because of Xfinity doing “Upgrades”. My outage maps don’t show any problems.  So, I thought this might be the place to get an answer from Xfinity if they are aware of this??

@Tourglide1 I can definitely understand the concern, it looks like @EG provided you a great link on troubleshooting your services. Since you aren't seeing a reported interruption those would be the steps we'd ask you to take to begin troubleshooting. Can you please give them a try and let me know if you are still experiencing the service issues?

They likely are not aware if there is no info posted at that outage checking site. And if you don't try the self-troubleshooting stuff (which you'll likely be asked to do anyway) and provide more info here, it's nearly impossible for others here to advise you.
