how to report offensive network names

there are a few questionable network names near me and i am appalled that xfinity would allow offensive language that children may potentially see.

i don't understand why xfinity would not monitor these, and make appropriate business decisions to suggest changes.

these names involve political statements, and i'm not a political person by any means, i have no 'side' - but it disgusts me that xfinity allows it at all.

We sincerely apologize about the potentially offensive network names of your neighbors. At this time, we do not actively monitor our customer's private wifi network names. As long as those network names are not in violation of our Comcast Internet Terms of Service, there is not much we will be able to do. Additionally, we would need to know the address of where those specific wifi signals were being broadcast from if we were to change it. We recommend going into your device settings and ignoring/blocking those networks from displaying in your list of available networks. This way, you and your family will not even see those network names when choosing a WiFi connection to join.

Please let us know if you have any other questions or comments.

How do you know they are Comcast customers, or even using Comcast equipment? Legally, there is probably little to nothing Comcast can do, unless you want to be forced to use Comcast created SID's like "JLgLklj234LKDSJF".
