How do you change wifi settings with now internet?

Wifi config in the gateway admin interface (10.0.0.1) is disabled and clicking "wifi details" in the wifi tab of the xfinity app, pops up the following:

There's no editing there.

user_xjan9i Just to clarify, if you go to a browser and try connecting to (10.0.0.1), are you seeing a place where it wants a Username and Password? Is there something you are trying to change specifically?

I already mentioned that wifi config section in the gateway admin interface is disabled. Nothing can be changed there and there's a message to use the xfinity app. Same for port forwarding (advanced section).

user_xjan9i  This may be a limitation of NOW Internet. We are looking through the interface now, and we don't see that the WiFi settings are accessible through the modem's firmware, most likely because it is functioning as a prepaid service.

I said in the prior posts that wifi settings (also port forwarding) are not available in the gateway admin interface and there is a message to use the xfinity app. But they are not in the xfinity app either. I posted a screenshot of what pops up when you click "wifi details" where you would normally edit them.

Not being able to edit them at all is obviously unacceptable. If there's another way, what is it? If not, then this is a bug that needs fixing.

We may need to take a step back and figure out why the Xfinity app is not working correctly, @user_xjan9i. Have you already activated the gateway through the app? Are you able to log in and mange your account details?

Yes it was activated and working. Account details management is there. but not wifi settings editing nor port forwarding nor other advanced config. The OP has a screenshot of the "wifi details" popup. That's where at least wifi config editing would normally be, perhaps other stuff too.

By the way I only got an email notification for the initial reply in this thread and not any subsequent ones. I am still following the thread (there's an unfollow link), so this looks like a bug in the forum.
