How can I change my IP location?

I live 5 minutes from the Indiana - Michigan State line, in Indiana. I watch Detroit Red Wings hockey on ESPN plus. However, lately my IP location has been assigned to a city in southern Michigan. This is problematic because it puts me in the Red Wings local broadcast area, and so I am blacked out on ESPN plus. How can I change my IP location to a city in Indiana, so that I can watch hockey again? If I cannot resolve this, I will need to change service providers.

Hello, @user_kpidqc. There are 3rd party services that manage your geo-location. You need to report that it is incorrect to them. I recommend checking out this post. @EG has a great write-up and list of companies to report it to: https://forums.xfinity.com/conversations/your-home-network/fix-geolocation-of-my-ipaddress/666127b51e56d61567f91b4d.

My apologies. I totally meant to put the link in my last message. Here it is: https://forums.xfinity.com/conversations/your-home-network/fix-geolocation-of-my-ipaddress/666127b51e56d61567f91b4d. I am also adding it to my original response.
