Hosting a TAK server on Xfinity

I'd like to host a TAK (Team Awareness Kit) server on a spare computer at my home for me and my friends to access. I can't get port forwarding to work at all. I am using an owned modem, and tplink router. I set the forwarding rules, but it doesn't appear that Xfinity is letting traffic in to my server. Has anyone else had experience with TAK or running another type of server at home?

Good evening user_mwfr1. Are you having trouble with the port-forwarding? If so maybe this may be of assistance.  https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/port-forwarding-xfinity-wireless-gateway. Let me know if this helps any.

Thanks for reaching back out, @user_mwfr1! Have you checked your Firewall settings to ensure that your Firewall isn't blocking the connection?

@XfinityJon

The poster stated that they have a TP-Link router. Those instructions are for a Comcast gateway device.
