High Latency Under Load.

I've getting very high idle latency and sometime high latency underload for download and upload, tech was already out replacement my modem and still having some types of issue, can you please escalate this and take a look at my local node to see if there is any congestion issues going on, thank you.  I'm running a hardwired setup with cat6e

Having the same issue with upload latency under load.  Ran tracert from the cmd line and it appears to be the first hop.  Definitely impacting gaming negatively.

@user_75a9f0 Thank you for dropping a comment on the thread. Latency showing up that early in the route is definitely frustrating, especially when it’s affecting something as sensitive as gaming.

A few quick things that can help narrow it down:

  • Try running the same tracert while connected via Ethernet to rule out wireless interference if you are connected on WIfi
  • Reboot the modem and router to get a fresh connection
  • Check for any devices or background activity on your network

Please let us know if any of these troubleshooting steps work out.

Howdy austinp 👋 I appreciate you reaching out to us for help with the latency issues you're going through because I know from personal experience how hindering dealing with a connection like that can be. Rest assured, we'll do everything we need to get your connection strong and stable again 💪

To start, when the technician was over at your home for the connection issues, did they communicate that they identified any issues either in home or at the node itself? Their diagnostic checks will cover the node, so any red flags should lead them to schedule further work if needed.
