Getting hotspot while on vacation hold

Can I access xfinity hotspots while on Seasonal Convenience Plan (the $8/month option)? I tried to log into a wifi in a residential area this summer labeled as “xfinitywifi” and got a message on my screen saying I did not have a plan in that tier. Since we get little to no cell signal in that area and have no cable I’d like to use the hotspot for service while we are there.

Hello and welcome to Comcast @user_0ickca. Thank you so much for taking your time of day and reaching out to us here on our Community Forums page. You are in the right place and I am happy to assist you today. While you are on Seasonal hold, our Xfinity Hotspots are not available for use.

@XfinityRoberto Thanks for the reply. Does the next level up of Seasonal Hold allow use of Xfinity hotspots? I will in a area with almost no cell service but I have seen an  "xfinitywifi" on my phone's wifi menu. Is this an available hotspot I could sign into?

Thank you so much for the response, and we understand how important it is to be connected especially while being out on vacation @user_0ickca . With our seasonal plan that would not be an option, but we do have our Now Wifi passes that you can have access to if you see the network available while you are out there. Our Now Wifi pass is only discoverable by users when connecting to a hotspot on their device. Once purchased, each customer will receive an email receipt confirming the purchase, which includes a dedicated customer service number they can call for questions. At this time the rate is $20 for 30-days of access.
