What exactly do you mean by "assign it " ? Are you talking about a combination modem / router gateway device ? Or your network's LAN default gateway, or Comcast's WAN default gateway (IP address) ?
@user_5c98ea Thanks for the reply! The gateway is not an assignable device in the Xfinity app when you set up profiles because all users need to connect to it to get connected to the internet. @XfinityAirelle when using the mobile app and were the menu says people were you create an account to assign devices my gateway (router) is not listed why?
