Gateway password not working

If you are trying to log into the device's user interface/admin pages, try admin for the username and password for the password.

Hi there! We can help with that. The WiFi password is case-sensitive, so please double-check similar-looking characters such as 0 and O, or 1 and lowercase L, and make sure there are no extra spaces.

 

If the WiFi name or password was changed after the gateway was installed, the information printed on the label may no longer be current. You can view the active WiFi name and password in the Xfinity app by selecting WiFi, then WiFi details.

 

Please let us know what device you’re trying to connect and what error message you receive. Just be sure not to post the password publicly.
