Frequent drops and packet loss
Ok so recently my son started working from home, and the xfinity internet i have is simply not reliable enough. I get good speed to the access point (most current), and I pay for the highest available speed. But the internet drops so frequently that video conferencing is not consistent. Streaming content is usually ok, i guess since devices buffer enough. I set up a ping monitor directly to the access point and i get packet loss and high ping every few minutes. Several times a day, there is a few minutes of no internet, which resolves spontaneously. Whenever I try to report a problem with the app, all it does is say I’ve got good speed to the access point and i have no other recourse there. Anyone have a reliable way to report this to comcast and get it fixed?
