Fan on xfi gateway very loud all of a sudden

Just started this morning,the fan on the gateway started to make a very loud noise for a few minutes and stops,and 10 minutes later it does the same thing for a minute and then stops. It's done this a half a dozen times. The gateway seems to be working properly and internet service is fine. Seems like the fan is on its last leg.

A well known problem. The cooling fan is malfunctioning. There is no fix other than to get it swapped out for another. Take it to your local Xfinity store or ship it back for free via UPS and have them ship you another one. You can even get *home pickup*.

​I am paying for the 1200mbps package and I am CONSTANTLY getting under 20 mbps. 1% OF MY DATA PLAN. ​

​This has been an ongoing issue since 11/2023 and xfinity has done nothing but replace the modem with an even worse one than before. How do I pay $100 for 1200 Mbps and only get 20Mbps,?? Thats absolutely revolting. ​
​All the resets, unplugging the router, and necessary tests have been done. I am at a loss of what to do here and am about to switch my internet provider because xfinity has always had some kind of issue with the way they do things​

​Does anyone else have this problem and can suggest something to do? (Don’t suggest resetting my modem or I will lose it)​
