Extremely slow internet connection

Our internet speeds (download AND upload) have been constantly dropping below 1MB/s. This is a recent issue and has not happened over the past year of having this service. We have restarted our internet through the app and by unplugging + replugging the modem/router - speeds recover for a couple minutes then drop below 1MB/s again. Xfinity assistant and the app are all telling us that the connection is good and nothing is wrong, but it is clearly not good. We have not been able to connect to a human assistant. Can someone help?

I've tried resetting through the app, resetting by unplugging and replugging, hard resetting by holding the back button on the modem, checking all the cable connections - nothing has fixed these issues. I am getting less than 30MB/s download and upload on my laptop (wifi) and less than 1MB/s (!) download and upload on my mobile device. Both are on the 5GHz band. Can you give specific advice instead of a generic list of tasks? Or can someone help directly? There doesn't seem to be "outages" in the area, but nothing else is explaining the sudden and extreme drop in speed.

So your modem's signal levels are all within specs ?
