Ethernet Ports not working

Good day, I have tried to work my way through the virtual assistance, but that isn't working.   It goes through the process of resetting my cable modem, but that's not really the problem.   I use the ethernet ports on the back of the cable modem, and after a storm the other day, they stopped working.   I just need to exchange this rent device with a working one, but unsure of how to get to talk with someone to make that happen.   Any assistance available would be appreciated

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Hi there, @user_tub7zn! Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Community Forum and sorry to hear about the trouble with your ethernet connections. Not sure if you may have tried new ethernet cabling as that may also be the issue, however, getting a new modem is easy! Just take the current modem and power cord over to your local XFINITY Store and make an exchange. Locations and hours can be found here : https://www.xfinity.com/local/store-offers. If for some reason that doesn't work for you, we can send one out with a return kit for the old one. That will take a few days, maybe a bit longer with the holiday and weekend ahead of us here. Let us know if you want to go that route, and we would be happy to get the ball rolling!
