easy to try solution for slow ethernet upload speeds

Easy to try keyboard solution if your ethernet connection download speeds remain unaffected but either occasionally or continuously, internet upload speeds using ethernet are in the low kB range making the connection unusable.  Pertains to Windows 10 and 11 installations.

Go to device manager - network adapters - select your ethernet adapter (may be called ethernet controller) - properties - advanced properties tab - Jumbo Frame - change the Value to 9KB MTU - hit the OK button

That's it!  Hope it works for you.  Worked for me on two different model desktops, one running Win10 and the other running Win11.  I don't know if it is a true fix or a work-around, but at least for me it solved the problem.

newbie6, Hi there! Thanks for taking the time to reach out and provide this great tip for Windows 10 and 11 installations. While we have you, is there any other issues we need to touch on? We want to make sure you are satisfied. Have you heard about our new 5 year plans

Totally satisfied.  My Jumbo Frame value change seems to have done the trick.  I'm an end user and try to avoid tweaking what goes on behind the scenes because I don't really know what I'm doing!  As far as pricing is concerned, my condo has all users on an extremely favorable bulk contract price for a "triple play" which we pay for as part of our monthly homeowner's association fees.  But, thanks anyway for suggesting the 5 yr. plan.
