Drops every 30 minutes

Like several others on this forum, our internet drops in a regular pattern, sometimes every 30 minutes. Even when it stays on for hours, you can be sure that when it drops it will be on or close to the hour or half hour. In reading through a few of these threads, I have never seen any explanation of the periodicity or any solution shared by someone who returned and said what had actually worked. Why is that? What is the answer to this not uncommon issue?

Thank you for taking the time to read my concern and for replying with all of the suggestions. Unfortunately, most of them seem to require knowledge/abilities/equipment don’t possess. I’m pretty much convinced that this is an Xfinity issue but there hasn’t been any way to demonstrate that. It doesn’t happen when they’ve been here (at least 3 visits) and I can’t call them when it does happen because our phones rely on their internet service to work. :-(
